This is a two-day event, both days offering the same activities. It is built to be an opportunity for young people to gain a hands-on perspective of careers in construction offered through pre-apprenticeship to become a professional tradesperson.

The event is free and open to any school in Michigan.

No, this event is registration only by Michigan School representatives and Homeschool students.

There is no limit on the number of students you can bring, but a chaperone must accompany every 15 students that you register.

They may sign the waiver for themselves, but a waiver must be submitted by all on-site attendees.

Registration is open for the in-person event through the end of the day on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 3:00 pm. This is the last day we can effectively process the paperwork that needs to be submitted to attend.

Please dress for indoor and outdoor activities. Closed toed shoes are mandatory. No shorts or skirts/dresses are allowed nor excessively bagging clothing due to the nature of the activities.  Safety helmets will be provided and must be worn at all times. Companies running the individual activities will supply any additional safety wear, if needed, for their activity.

There are limited funds available to reimburse schools for transportation.  Please see the busing reimbursement page in the registration packet (page 7) and apply. 

Deadline to apply for check requests is: APRIL 12, 2023. 

Optional: Bring this form to the event and reimbursement will be fulfilled by the end of the month of May.

This event is not open to the general public. If you would like an invitation to attend as a guest, please email us at Info@MichiganCCD.com and request the EventBrite Guest invitation OR the VIP guided, timed tour invitation.  A personal liability waiver must be signed as well as a media / photo release.
